Paradise Gardens Center Lake Norman

If you are considering buying plants or hiring a landscaping company, I strongly advise you NOT to go to Paradise Gardens, Garden Center in Denver, Lake Norman.
Here is why: I recently bought a house in The Peninsula, Lake Norman, where the Denver Gardens Center had just planted 4 Holly Trees 1 month prior to closing. Cost: $1,250,00 planted, including a 1 year warranty.
We closed on our house that was for sale in The Peninsula and 2 months after having moved in, all 4 Holly Trees died on us!
We called the people at Denver Gardens Center and talked to the lady in charge, Martha who immediately asks us: Did you regularly water the plants?
To which I replied, of course, I watered them every second day for about 20 minutes.
Her reply: Well Sir, you drowned the trees! They don't need this much water.
I kindly asked her to come out to our house and to look at the trees, which apparently they did, without informing me or knocking on my door.
3 weeks went by without hearing back from anyone at the Garden Center. So I called and left a message with the lady who picked up the phone and asked that Martha calls me back.
One further week passes without a return call!
I attempt to call them again and this time get Martha on the phone, who gave me an extremely snooty attitude and has the audacity to tell me that I didn't water the plants enough as they died because of the lack of water and that their 1 year guarantee would not cover my Holly Trees.
5 more weeks go by and the 2 center trees of the 4 which are planted in a row, came back to life and are doing great, do to constant care and the use of Miracle Grow.
I was not able to revive the 2 outer trees and finally dug them up today to find that they were planted with a burlap bag around the roots enclosed by a metal frame!
My friend and business partner, drove to Paradise Gardens today to buy 2 holy trees to replace them as I was not about to argue with anyone at the Garden Center.
When we arrive, we get greeted by a very unfriendly lady and when I asked her if the Holly Trees get planted with the burlap bag and metal frame, she replies: Absolutely not, Sir. The roots could not grow like this and the tree would die! The bag and frame have to be taken off before planting the trees.
I explained to her that her people planted my trees like that and all except 2 died and that I did not expect to pay for the 2 replacements as this should be covered under their warranty.
She stuttered around and said: Oh, you know what: I think the burlap bag and metal frame can stay.
Seeing that I was not getting anywhere by talking to that Lady, I went to a gentleman that also works there and asked him the same question about how to plant the trees.
He said the same thing the lady did: The metal frame and burlap bag have to be removed before planting the trees.
When explaining to him that this was the way my trees were planted, he immediately said: You know what: I am pretty sure the burlap bag and metal frame don't have to be removed at all before planting the trees!
Do I see a pattern here, or what?! I immediately asked to speak to the owner, who was unavailable to talk to me and I got asked to leave my phone number and someone would call me back.
To make a long story short: I got called back by the receptionist who tells me that it was my fault the trees died and that they would not cover the replacement of the trees! The also offered me that they could order 2 trees for me that I could pick up within a week and pay $400 per tree!!!

I now have 2 big holes in my yard with no Holly Trees and I will hire another garden center and have them replace my trees. After having made a few phone calls, I now found a landscaping company who will come out and plant 2 holly trees for a total of $500, planted!

Again, should you consider using the services of Paradise Gardens in Denver, Lake Norman, please read my experience with them again and decide.
